Update on Biggar & District Accounting Services
We want to inform you of an upcoming change at Biggar and District Accounting Services.
We are excited to announce that we are investigating a transition of ownership from Biggar & District Credit Union to Dylan & Amy Haynes. This transition would allow the accounting firm to remain locally owned and operated, with little to no disruption of service to our current clients. Keeping the accounting firm in the community ensures continuity and helps preserve the strong client relationships we’ve built together.
At this time, any further details are limited, however we will communicate more details as they become available.
Why is this happening?
The firm was established to fill a service gap in Biggar when other accounting providers closed. From the beginning, it was understood that it may not remain part of the credit union long-term. After three years of operation, we’ve learned that trying to satisfy the compliance regulations that are necessary for both a credit union and a CPA governed firm, creates financial inefficiencies which hamper efficient operations of the accounting business. We are confident that making this transition to the accounting firm being an independent entity, will allow it to continue as a successful business in our community.
What does this mean for you?
Our top priority is ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining high-quality service. For now, you can expect business as usual. Rest assured, we are committed to keeping you informed as decisions are finalized and will provide updates as more details become available.
We sincerely appreciate your continued support and trust. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
