​How do I activate my new debitcard?

Your new debit card will be mailed to you. You will receive a temporary PIN seperately. You can use this PIN at the Credit Union ATM or in branch to change to the PIN of your choice. 

You replacement debit card will be mailed to you.You can activate it by using your current PIN at the ATM or any Point of Sale machine.

What happens if I get a suspicious email or text from BDCU?

Biggar and District Credit Union will never send you an unsolicited email or message asking for any confidential information – this includes information such as PAC (personal access code), passwords, or card numbers. If you do receive an email of this nature, please report it. Phone 1-306-948-3552 during office hours or 1-888-273-3488 after hours.  If you think you have been a victim of fraud or have any unknown transactions on your account, please let us know.

How can I send money internationally?

You can do international transfers through online banking or the Biggar and District Mobile App.

For international transfers, log into online banking, choose Transfers and International Transfers.

  • Follow the steps to access the feature through Agility Forex Ltd.
  • Complete the one-time registration to get started.
  • Add your recipient
  • Book your international transfer.

This feature allows you to make international transfers fast, safely and in the comfort of your home. 

You can also choose to send money to countries outside of Canada by coming into one of our branches and doing a wire transfer. Talk to any of our Member Service Representatives for more information.

What do I do if I lost my ​Member Card® Debit Card?

Use the Lock’N’Block® feature in online banking to block your card or block ATM transactions and purchases as soon as you realize that your Member Card® Debit Card is lost. Phone us at 1-306-948-3352 for a replacement card. 

Phone 1-888-273-3488 outside normal business hours if you suspect that your Member Card® Debit Card is missing and might be used without your consent.
