Director

Born and raised on a farm in the Biggar area, I am happy to return home with my family after 27 years of living in Alberta. 

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to wear many hats. My experience includes 25 years of salon and spa business ownership, educating as a national salon and business coach with Redken Canada, working in a public accounting office, and providing bookkeeping for various business sectors. 

Obtaining a Business Administration Certificate from Medicine Hat College and Journeyman certification in Cosmetology provided me with diverse knowledge. A commitment to lifelong learning has also led me to study taxation, investments, coaching, and personal financial management. 

I have volunteered as a member of the Kinette Club, participated in numerous fundraisers for cancer research and local hospital initiatives, and assisted with youth groups, school, and sporting events. 

Returning to the farm with my husband and son has allowed me to rediscover the quiet of rural living, appreciate the memories and history of the farm, and discover a different skillset through working with cattle. 

I look forward to participating on the Biggar & District Credit Union Board of Directors and serving its members.
