STAY ALERT to activity in your online accounts with “ALERTS”

ALERTS is a tool designed to help you protect your money by knowing what is happening to your account - in real time.
Simply set yourself up for ALERTS and stay in control of your money.

Setting up the Alerts is easy and you can do it from your cellphone or your computer.

Protect yourself - ensure you have the following ALERTS set up for online banking.

Personal Access code (PAC) changed

​Interac e-Transfer® recipient added

Online banking account locked out

Online Login

New payee added


Setting up ALERTS Through Online Banking 


  1. Log into Biggar & District Credit Union Online Banking

  2. Navigate to the Messages and Alerts tab and then click on Get Started Today (or "Manage Alerts) to display the Mobile Alerts page.

  3. You will be asked to accept the Alerts Agreement before you can complete your registration.

  4. From here, add an email contact, phone contact (or both!) and follow the instructions received in the confirmation email or text.

  5. Choose which alerts you’d like to receive.

  6. Ensure the check box beside the contact (email address and/or mobile phone) to receive the alert has been checked by choosing Manage Alerts and selecting the alerts you wish to receive.   

  7. Click Submit     

  8. You’re all set


Setting up Alerts With our Mobile App

  1. Log into Biggar & District Credit Union Mobile App

  2. Swipe to the left get to the second screen

  3. Click on the Alerts Icon (bell)

  4. Tab on the manage tab at the center top of the screen

  5. Choose which alerts you’d like to receive.

  6. Ensure the check box beside the contact (email address and/or mobile phone) to receive the alert has been checked.

  7. Click Save 

  8. You’re all set
