Be Fraud Smart

It can happen to anyone

You might think that it will never happen to you.  Maybe you feel that you are just too insignificant to become a target and a victim.  Or maybe you think fraudsters only steal from those with more money than you, or who are older, or more vulnerable than you.  Not true.  There is no typical victim of fraud in Canada.  In 2020, over 42,000 Canadians reported that they were the victims of fraud. They lost a total of $104.4 million.

Don't let it happen to you.
