Teagon Polsfut

I am twenty-one years old, and born and raised in Biggar. I worked full-time in Maintenance at the Biggar & District Health Centre. I currently hold a casual Maintenance position there. I now work on vehicles at our family business, Spyder Autobody, which has been part of the community for over thirty years. I also help operate the Spyder tow truck for Biggar and surrounding area. I am a licensed 4th Class Power Engineer. I have been a homeowner in Biggar since 2017, which is now home to my family, including our four month old daughter.

When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing , working on my personal vehicles and doing work to the house.

I have been a member of the Biggar & District Credit Union for as long as I can remember. I would like to be on the Board of Directors so I can offer a perspective for my age group and become part of the successful organization the credit union has come to be in our community.

Best of luck to all the candidates!

Linda White

My reason to run for the Board of Directors of Biggar & District Credit Union is to learn the principles of the Credit Union system and more about their community and volunteer involvement With my background in secretarial, accounting and management, I feel I would be a great asset to the board.

My volunteerism in Biggar includes: currently President of Biggar & District Theatre Board, and an officer in Acacia Chapter NO. 3, Order of the Easter Star in Biggar.  I served on the Biggar Air Cadets Board and the BCS2000 School Community Council as Treasurer for four years.

I have volunteered on numerous boards and assisted with fundraising for figure skating clubs, swim clubs, hockey clubs, curling events and Job’s Daughters. I am a Past Honoured Royal Lady for the Order of Royal Purple and also held offices of Secretary and Treasurer.

I ask for your support and thank you for considering my application.
