In our ongoing efforts to protect our members, and minimize losses from card fraud, we have lowered debit card cash withdrawal limits. Effective September 1, 2011, the limit for an ATM cash withdrawal using your Member Card is $525 per day.

Presenter Alice Germann will teach you how to keep your mind sharp as you age. She will also provide information to help you develop a personal mental fitness program that fits your lifestyle and gives you the tools to achieve your goals easily, and at your own pace.
Everyone is welcome to attend this presentation on Wednesday, September 7 at the New Horizons Seniors' Centre at 10:00 am. Silver collection at the door.

The building expansion has finally reached completion! Biggar Insurance Services celebrated their Grand Opening on Saturday, June 5.
The addition/expansion of our credit union offices is also done and 3 of the new offices are occupied.

The Annual Grade 12 Student Trade Fair took place at the Westwinds Centennial Room on May 26. The students learned about:
- student loans and car loans
- building good credit
- insurance needs in and out of the province while attending school
- careers in the credit union system
- internet and mobile banking
- budgeting and investing
- debit cards and credit cards
- fraud prevention
The students, along with their parents, enjoyed pizza and drinks. The lucky winner of the laptop was Kim Morton, from Ruthilda. Congratulations Kim!
A big THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the Biggar Community Clean-up on May 10: the students and staff of BCS 2000 and St. Gabriel schools, community volunteers and Biggar businesses: Prairie Malt, E-Kay Enterprises, Super A Foods, Town of Biggar, Busse Law Office, The Independent, and Biggar Insurance Services. Thanks also to the credit union staff and directors -- they cleaned, cooked and served the hungry workers!
