Going Green

Biggar Community Cleanup - May 2011

Tuesday, May 26, turned out to be a perfect day for the annual Spring Cleanup.  Students from BCS 2000 and St. Gabriel schools participated, as did several local businesses:  Prairie Malt, E-Kay Enterprises, Super A Foods, Town of Biggar, Busse Law Office, and Biggar Insurance Services.  Credit Union staff and directors also cleaned, as well as cooked and served all the hungry workers.  It was a day well spent - and all participants agreed that it was fun to work together to keep our community clean!  

In other “green” news…

At work and at home, we continue to challenge ourselves to find ways to be friendlier to the enviroment.  By practicing the 3 Rs -- reduce, reuse and recycle -- we can all make a difference!
